Many hands make light work and Kittery Land Trust works closely with a number of partners to “Save Land & Build Community”.
Kittery Land Trust is a member of the Maine Land Trust Network (hosted and supported by Maine Coast Heritage Trust) as well as the national Land Trust Alliance. Both of these organizations keep KLT abreast of the latest issues and best practices within the greater land conservation community.
- Town of Kittery– KLT works closely with the Town of Kittery to provide our citizens with open space that protects water quality, provides wildlife habitat and outdoor recreation opportunities.
- Kittery School Department – support environmental literacy and initiatives that bring students outdoors to learn about the ecology and history of our town.

- Pantry Partners- Each year KLT grows over 5,000 lbs of fresh produce at Nooney Farm that is donated to local organization fighting food insecurity in our community.

- Mt Agamenticus to the Sea Coalition (MtA2C) – the 10 land conservation organizations including KLT working to connect conservation lands from the Tatnic region of South Berwick and Wells, over Mount Agamenticus to Gerrish Island.
- Spruce Creek Association (SCA) – KLT has partnered with SCA on several initiatives including Rustlewood Farm and the Thompson Mill Pond easements.
- Maine Farmland Trust is a statewide organization that protects farmland, supports farmers and advances farming. They played an important role in helping KLT purchase two conservation easements on Rustlewood Farm. We continue to work together to seek additional opportunities to protect farm soils and the future of farming in Kittery.
