Trails & Tails - KLT Dog Policy
KLT strives to have preserves where humans, wildlife, native trees and plants, and dogs can all safely co-exist. The issues of whether dogs need to be leashed and their poop picked up and removed have been difficult ones for all land trusts as well as other conservation and public lands. We want to continue welcoming everyone and their dogs to our trails while maintaining safe habitats for the wildlife that call our lands home. To do this we kindly ask that you keep your dog under control on the trail and clean up your pet waste so everyone can enjoy our beautiful trails. Thank you for your cooperation and happy hiking!
